On November 4, 2022, Aaron Scott Ramos, a 27-year-old man from Odessa, Texas, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident outside Pat's Place in Ector County. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. when Ector County Sheriff's Office Patrol Deputies responded to a call about a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Aaron Ramos dead and another man, aged 25, severely injured. The suspect, identified as 41-year-old Nicholas James Thompson, was later arrested and charged with murder.
