John Paul Jimenez, a 42-year-old man from Odessa, Texas, tragically lost his life on August 15, 2018. He was involved in a shooting incident in the 900 block of Magnolia Boulevard, where he was helping his friend Jimmy White unload furniture. The incident occurred when Jose Alexander Carrera, then 20 years old, approached the scene and opened fire, hitting both Jimenez and White. While White survived, Jimenez succumbed to his injuries.
