Brian Keith Harp Sr., a 53-year-old African American man from Dallas, Texas, was tragically killed on September 25, 2019. Harp was the owner of Cafe Delicious in South Dallas, where he was shot during an apparent robbery. According to reports, Harp heroically shielded a fellow employee, telling her to hide when a group of masked individuals entered the restaurant. Unfortunately, Harp was hit by gunfire and later died at the hospital.
In the aftermath of the robbery, Dallas police identified several suspects and conducted a manhunt. The next morning, SWAT officers located a vehicle believed to be used by the suspects and took several individuals into custody. During the operation, one suspect was shot and killed by SWAT officers while attempting to flee. Investigators believe this suspect may have been involved in Harp's murder.
The investigation continued as police released surveillance images of a person of interest and sought additional information from the public. Despite the efforts, the case remains a poignant reminder of the senseless violence that took the life of a dedicated restaurant owner and beloved family man.
