On December 23, 2024, at approximately 11:30 p.m., 36-year-old Oliver Moffett was fatally shot in the 7500 block of Chaucer Place, located in the Red Bird area of Dallas, Texas.
Upon arrival, Dallas Police officers found Moffett with gunshot wounds; he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The suspect was later located at a local hospital and taken into custody. The individual's identity has not been released pending formal booking into jail.
