Senior Corporal Mark Timothy Nix, a 33-year-old white male, was tragically killed on March 23, 2007, in Dallas, Texas. Nix, who served with the Dallas Police Department for nearly seven years, was attempting to apprehend a murder suspect when he was fatally shot.
