In the late hours of Sunday, March 15, 2026, a burst of gunfire shattered the night's quiet in a far northeast Dallas apartment complex parking lot, leaving two young men dead. One of the victims was identified as Ethan Isiah Dillard, a 20-year-old Black male from Dallas. The incident, which is being investigated as a double homicide, also claimed the life of 21-year-old Mardreus Ward.
