Dallas police officers responded to a call at The Bentley apartment complex, located in the 12100 block
of Audelia Road, shortly after 9:45 p.m.. Upon arrival, they discovered both Dillard and Ward in the parking lot, each having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.. Despite the immediate response from emergency services, both men were pronounced dead at the scene..
