Just after midnight on June 20, 2025, 19-year-old David Stribling was shot on the 2600 block of Main Street in Dallas’ Deep Ellum entertainment district. Dallas police arrived around 12:40 a.m. to find the young man wounded; Dallas Fire-Rescue rushed him to a hospital, where he died a short time later. The case was opened under DPD case number 087471-2025 and detectives asked anyone with information to come forward.
