Sandeep Dhaliwal, a 42-year-old Sikh man, was tragically killed on September 27, 2019, during a traffic stop in Houston, Texas. Dhaliwal was the first Sikh deputy in Harris County, known for his trailblazing efforts to allow Sikh officers to wear their traditional articles of faith while on duty.
