On December 10, 2019, a tragic incident occurred in Edinburg, Texas, resulting in the deaths of three individuals: 30-year-old Aaron Cortez, 19-year-old Rebecca Cantu, and 48-year-old Magdelena Cantu. The incident was determined to be a murder-suicide, with the shooter identified as 57-year-old Saul Avila.
