Isaac Velasco, a 28-year-old Hispanic male from Garland, TX, tragically lost his life on May 6, 2020. The incident occurred just before 4 a.m. when the Garland Police Department responded to a gunshot disturbance in the 100 block of Lake Drive. Officers found Velasco suffering from a gunshot wound in a shopping center located in the 1500 block of South First. Despite immediate medical attention, Velasco succumbed to his injuries.
