Kommodor Tarver, a 45-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on the night of December 18, 2018, in Peoria, Illinois. The incident occurred just after 11 p.m. when Peoria Police responded to ShotSpotter alerts in the area of the 2600 block of N. Bootz and the 300 block of West Corrington.
