James M. Williams, 30, a Black man, was shot in the early hours of January 18, 2015, at a home near the 11700 block of Fuller Road in Kansas City, Missouri. Police were called to the address around 4:57 a.m., and when officers arrived they found him suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was rushed from the scene to a hospital, but he didn’t survive.
