On the night of January 19, 2015, a violent incident unfolded in the southern region of Kansas City, Missouri, claiming the life of 20-year-old Black male Anthony R. Convert. The quiet of the evening was shattered around 9:15 p.m. when residents in the vicinity of the 5600 block of East 84th Terrace reported hearing the sound of gunfire.
