On March 6, 2015, Dominique Cook, a 24-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, was fatally shot in the area of 3041 College Avenue. Police were dispatched to the scene following reports of gunfire, and upon arrival, they found Cook suffering from a gunshot wound.
