Carl Somerville, a 21-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on October 12, 2020, in Houston, Texas. He was a passenger in his girlfriend's Mitsubishi Outlander when a drive-by shooting occurred. The assailant, driving a white Chevrolet Cruze, fired multiple gunshots into the vehicle, striking Carl multiple times. Despite being rushed to Ben Taub General Hospital, Carl was pronounced dead at the scene.
