On July 14, 2023, 66-year-old Ramiro Galvan Garza was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound at a house under construction in the 7000 block of Sidney Street in Houston, Texas. Garza, a construction worker, had been working at the site when his family became concerned after losing contact with him. Using his phone's location, a family member discovered his body at the job site.
