Jonathan Flores, a 31-year-old man from Mission, TX, tragically died on December 13, 2020. His body was discovered on November 9, 2024, atop a roof at a business park on West Sam Houston Parkway in Harris County, Texas. According to his friend Christian Briones, who found the body, it appeared that Flores had been electrocuted while trying to take apart a rooftop A/C unit. Flores' girlfriend reported him missing on November 6, 2024, after he left home early on Sunday morning.
She suspected he might be in the vicinity of the business park and requested detectives to search there, but they initially did not.
Briones, frustrated with the lack of action from the authorities, took it upon himself to search for his friend. He found Flores' bike abandoned about a half-mile from the business park, which raised his suspicions. Upon reaching the business park, Briones was overcome by a strange smell and climbed a ladder to the roof, where he discovered Flores' decomposing body. The Harris County Sheriff's Office has not provided any comments on the case.
As of now, there have been no arrests, suspects, or litigations related to Jonathan Flores' death. The investigation remains ongoing, and friends and family continue to seek answers about the circumstances surrounding his death.
