Jermaine Deshay Aldridge, a 31-year-old male of African American ethnicity from Texarkana, Texas, tragically lost his life on December 30, 2020. He was fatally shot in the parking lot of a Chili's restaurant in Texarkana, Texas. The incident was part of a larger gang-related "murder-for-hire" plot orchestrated by members of the Loyalty Cash Business gang.
Cedric Deshun Alexander, a 33-year-old man from Memphis, Tennessee, was one of the individuals hired to carry out the murder.
Alexander, along with another man, traveled from Memphis to Texarkana to execute the hit on Aldridge. After the shooting, Alexander and his accomplice fled back to Memphis. Alexander was later arrested and convicted of capital murder, among other charges, and was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole.
The investigation into Aldridge's death revealed that the LCB gang leader believed Aldridge had stolen $100,000 of his drug money, which led to the decision to have him killed. The gang leader was sentenced to 40 years in prison for his involvement in the murder. Additionally, several other gang members were arrested and faced charges related to the murder and other criminal activities.
