On the evening of Tuesday, June 9, 2015, a violent incident occurred at Rumbold Park in the North St. Louis neighborhood of Missouri, claiming the life of Jennifer Dorsey. The 27-year-old female victim was gathered with family and friends at the playground near the intersection of North Market Street and North Spring Avenue when gunfire erupted. The shooting took place while the group was socializing in what was meant to be a recreational setting.
