Amanda Broderick, a 34-year-old nurse from Austin, Texas, tragically lost her life on April 18, 2021. She was killed in a shooting incident in the Arboretum area of Austin, along with her 17-year-old daughter, Alyssa Broderick, and Alyssa's boyfriend, 18-year-old Willie Simmons III. The incident occurred during a scheduled custody exchange with Amanda's estranged husband, Stephen Broderick, a former Travis County Sheriff's detective.
