Jennifer Cave, a 21-year-old woman, was murdered on August 17, 2005, in Austin, Texas. She had recently started a new job as a legal assistant and was celebrating with her friend, Colton Aaron Pitonyak, at Sixth Street in Downtown Austin. The celebration took a tragic turn when Pitonyak shot Cave in his apartment at the Orange Tree Condominiums in West Campus, Austin.
