On September 30, 2023, 46-year-old Teressa Gandy Ferguson was tragically killed in a road rage incident in North Austin, Texas. While driving home from work along Interstate 35, Ferguson was involved in a minor collision near the Rundberg Lane and Anderson Lane exits. She pulled over to exchange information with the other driver, as she had informed a friend during a phone call. Tragically, during this exchange, she was shot and killed.
