On December 5, 2023, a tragic series of events unfolded in Texas, resulting in the death of 55-year-old Phyllis James. She and her husband, 56-year-old Shane James Sr., were found deceased in their East Bexar County home near San Antonio. Authorities identified their son, 34-year-old Shane James Jr., as the primary suspect in their deaths.
