Luis Rivera, a 24-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on May 2, 2021, in Houston, Texas. He was killed in a shooting incident at Micheladas La Barra, located in the 10100 block of Antoine Drive in northwest Harris County. According to reports, an argument broke out between two groups of people inside the bar, and during the altercation, a suspect pulled out a semi-automatic pistol and began beating one of the customers with the gun, which accidentally discharged and struck Rivera.
The suspect, described as a Hispanic male in his late 20s, fled the scene in a 2009 silver Chevrolet Malibu with Texas License #JLX-3508.
The investigation into Luis Rivera's death is ongoing, and the Houston Police Department, along with the Harris County Sheriff's Office, is actively searching for the suspect. The suspect is believed to possibly be headed to Laredo, and anyone with information on the shooting or the suspect's whereabouts is urged to contact the Homicide Unit at 713-274-9100.
