On May 2, 2021, Francisco Villanueva Rodriguez, a 35-year-old man, was found shot to death in an alley behind the Tiger Cabaret on R L Thornton Freeway in Dallas, Texas. Police responded to a welfare check around 9 a.m. and discovered Rodriguez with a gunshot wound to the face. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Dallas Fire-Rescue. His death was investigated as a murder, but no arrests were made at the time, and the motive remained unknown.
