On May 21, 2021, 23-year-old Cameron James Gray, a man of Navasota, Texas, was fatally shot in the parking lot of an H-E-B store in College Station, Texas. Gray was involved in what appeared to be a botched drug deal when he was shot by 18-year-old Trevon Marcel Stewart of Lexington, Texas. The incident occurred around 8:21 p.m., and despite being transported to a local hospital, Gray was pronounced dead later that evening.
