On the night of July 28, 2024, 17-year-old Richard Elijah Hilton was found with gunshot wounds at the intersection of University Oaks Boulevard and George Bush Drive in College Station, Texas. Responding to multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting gunshots around 11 p.m., officers arrived promptly and administered first aid until the College Station Fire Department transported Hilton to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
