On May 26, 2021, Dakota Champion, a 34-year-old man from Haslet, Texas, was fatally shot outside a bar near 2301 North Collins Street in Arlington, Texas. The incident occurred around 2:10 a.m. during a fight that escalated into a shooting. Dakota Champion was taken to a local hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries later that day.
