Kenneth Salazar, a 57-year-old man from San Antonio, Texas, tragically died on June 13, 2021, from injuries sustained during a shooting at the Paradise Motel on the West Side of San Antonio. Salazar, who was a Gulf War veteran and cancer survivor, was helping a stranger fix his car when he was shot by Leopoldo Mora, 37, during an argument. Initially, Salazar's injuries were not considered life-threatening, but his condition worsened, and he passed away three days later.
