Joseph Elsworth Slaughter, aged 66, was last seen in Richmond, Virginia, in June 2005. At the time, he was homeless and often traveled between Richmond, Goochland, and Philadelphia, where he had family connections. He was known to frequent areas like Eighth and Grace Streets as well as Dock Street in Richmond. Slaughter did not have a fixed routine, but he regularly visited his family on Bland Street, where he was last seen.
