Javone Montre Polumalu Hodges, a 19-year-old African American male from Austin, Texas, tragically lost his life on June 20, 2021. Hodges was fatally shot at a birthday party in South Austin just after midnight. The incident occurred after Hodges and Coolidge Humphries, also 19 years old, had a brief argument over unidentified females. Witnesses reported that Humphries fired multiple shots at Hodges, ultimately leading to his death. Another young man was also injured in the shooting but survived. ...Read More
