Hope Janicenassia Hensley, a 20-year-old woman from Dallas, Texas, was found shot in her apartment on June 21, 2021. At approximately 9:12 a.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 4700 block of Meadow Street. Upon arrival, police found Hensley with a gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. The investigation revealed that Hensley was shot in the neck by a projectile that came through the window of her apartment.
