On January 23, 2016, Ashley Monique Wilson, a 29-year-old woman from Dallas, Texas, tragically lost her life. She was shot and killed at an Oak Cliff bar called Patio Bar on Sunset Avenue. According to police reports, Wilson was a bystander who was caught in the crossfire after a fight broke out between two groups at the bar.
