On June 27, 2021, Latoya Nicka Connor, a 38-year-old woman from Lewisville, Texas, was tragically found shot to death in her home on Pebble Ridge Drive. The incident was later determined to be a murder-suicide. Latoya had been living with her two daughters, aged 12 and 14, in an apartment while going through a divorce with her husband, Julious Devol Connor, 45.
On June 20, 2021, Latoya told her daughters she was going to her husband's house to collect a check.
After not hearing from her for several days, her family reported her missing on June 24, 2021. The police were unable to reach either Latoya or Julious after receiving a disturbance call on June 27, 2021. They obtained a search warrant and entered the house that night, discovering both bodies in a bedroom. The preliminary investigation revealed that Julious shot Latoya before taking his own life.
The Lewisville Police Department worked with the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office to determine the timeline of the deaths. The investigation concluded that Julious Connor was responsible for Latoya's death before committing suicide. No additional suspects or litigations were involved in this case, as it was determined to be a murder-suicide.
