Ethan Darnell Dorsey, a 59-year-old African American man, was found shot to death outside his apartment in Central El Paso, Texas, on July 5, 2021. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. when police responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection of Pierce and Dyer streets. Upon arrival, officers discovered Dorsey lying outside his apartment. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
