Daniel Reginald Delarosa Mathis, a 19-year-old male from Mesquite, Texas, tragically lost his life on October 27, 2021. On that fateful night, Mesquite Police Officers responded to a shooting call at approximately 10:51 p.m. in the 2000 block of Cantura Drive in Mesquite. Upon arrival, they found Daniel Mathis on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being transported to a local hospital in serious condition, he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
