On October 2, 2021, Lawrence Dillon, a 24-year-old male from Mesquite, Texas, was tragically killed in a shooting incident. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. in the 2000 block of Hillcrest Street. When police arrived at the scene, they found Dillon in a parking lot with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
