Zachery Zach David Townsend, a 35-year-old male, tragically died on January 8, 2022, in Austin, Texas. He was shot at a business on Pasadena Drive in North Austin and succumbed to his injuries ten days later at a local hospital. The Travis County Medical Examiner ruled his death a homicide.

In February 2022, Antonio McCullen, a 34-year-old man, was arrested in Bell County on a murder charge in connection with Townsend's death. According to the arrest affidavit, a revolver-type gun was found near Townsend's body, and McCullen was identified as the shooter. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are continuing to seek information from the public to identify any additional suspects or gather more evidence.
