Amonte Lamonte Watters, a 17-year-old male, was fatally shot on April 30, 2022, at a North Austin apartment complex located at 7610 Cameron Road. He succumbed to his injuries on May 5, 2022, at Dell Seton Medical Center. The Austin Police Department received a 911 call reporting the shooting shortly before 8:15 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Watters on the ground with obvious trauma to his body.
