Freddie Portillo, a 33-year-old Hispanic male from Austin, Texas, tragically died on March 4, 2022, after being shot in the head. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. near Garden Gate Drive in Travis County. Portillo was one of two men who sustained gunshot wounds to the head during the shooting. Both victims were immediately transported to the hospital, where Portillo succumbed to his injuries.
