In the spring of 2016, a promising young woman's life was cut tragically short in Kansas City, Missouri. Tyra T. Brown, a 19-year-old female from Overland Park, Kansas, was fatally wounded by a stray bullet on April 17, 2016. She was a recent graduate of Olathe East High School and was studying at Johnson County Community College with dreams of becoming a pediatric nurse.
