Kentrell Tilley Rodney, a 22-year-old Black male from Dallas, Texas, tragically lost his life on March 20, 2022. He was found in an alleyway near the 2700 block of Moffatt Avenue, west of Interstate 45, near the Dallas VA Medical Center. The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office determined that Rodney died from a single gunshot wound. The circumstances and motive behind his murder remain under investigation by the Dallas Police Department.
