On May 22, 2016, Marquita Jones, aged 31, was tragically shot and killed in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred as she was sitting in her vehicle, parked near the intersection of Sherry Avenue and Margaretta Avenue. Authorities responded to the shooting scene after reports of gunfire, where they found Jones with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
