Michael Ray Satterwhite Jr., a 31-year-old African American male from Austin, Texas, tragically lost his life on April 28, 2022. He was fatally shot in the 400 block of East Sixth Street in Austin. The Austin Police Department responded to the scene around 12:54 P.M. after receiving multiple 911 calls about gunshots fired in the area. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, Satterwhite was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:08 P.M.
