On September 21, 2023, at approximately 5:32 p.m., the Austin Police Department (APD) responded to reports of a shooting at the SoCo Park Apartment Homes, located at 7201 South Congress Avenue in Austin, Texas. Upon arrival, officers discovered 32-year-old Juan Davila in the parking lot, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, Davila was pronounced deceased at the scene by 5:45 p.m.
