Cliff Axtell, a 40-year-old white male from Austin, Texas, was reported missing in late February 2023. He was last seen near Stubb's, a popular downtown venue, on February 25. On March 5, 2023, his body was discovered in Lady Bird Lake, a man-made reservoir that runs through the heart of Austin. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance and death sparked concern among locals, especially given the growing number of similar cases in the area.
