Melvin Germain Salas, a 17-year-old Hispanic male from Garland, Texas, tragically lost his life on May 7, 2022. He was one of two teenagers who were fatally shot outside a house party on Magnolia Drive in Garland. The incident occurred just before midnight when a disturbance led to gunfire, resulting in the deaths of Salas and 18-year-old Jose Damian Garcia. Two other individuals were injured but survived with non-life-threatening injuries.
