Jabari Walters, a 33-year-old man from New Orleans, tragically lost his life on August 11, 2022, in Mesquite, Texas. Walters was fatally shot in the 3800 block of Anthony Drive, near Town East Boulevard and U.S. Highway 80. Responding officers found him at the scene with a gunshot wound to the torso and he was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
