John W. Palmer, aged 54, was found dead on August 19, 2016, near a walking trail close to East Bannister Road and Lydia Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. The location was part of the Indian Creek Trail, a popular area for outdoor activities. Palmer's body was discovered in a wooded area adjacent to the trail, with no immediate suspects identified by the authorities.
