Aaron L. Reese, age 58, was killed on June 5, 2026, in Kansas City, Missouri, after what police described as a family dispute that turned deadly inside a townhome in the 9700 block of Locust Street, near East 97th Terrace, East 99th Street and Holmes Road. Officers were called to the area around noon for a reported shooting, and when they arrived, the scene already appeared to have moved from an argument to a homicide investigation.
